I finally found a practical application for my splashes. It makes great texture for pink marble or granite or gneiss, whatever stone that is in the middle. In 1866 Joseph Pease donated eight drinking fountains to the people of Darlington to “promote Temperance and provide refreshment”. Only three remain.
